Tom Carroll

Biography

Tom Carroll is originally from the Netherlands and moved to South Australia in 2016, where he now lives with his wife, Jess, who is Australian, and their three children—two girls and a boy.

Tom first encountered Fatherheart Ministries in a life-changing way at the Inheriting the Nations School in 2012. While there, he heard James Jordan speak on the Third Law message, and had a profound experience of the Father’s love. A year later, Tom returned to INS and stayed around after the school had finished. At the same time, the existing media team was stepping away and there was a need for someone to help carry the work forward. For Tom, it felt like a God-led moment, and he joined the Fatherheart Ministries media team in 2013.

During his first four years in the media team, Tom focused almost entirely on reworking James and Denise Jordan’s teachings, making newer versions available, and going through school recordings from INS and other Fatherheart schools to find unreleased teachings that could be shared more widely. This work grew into a broader involvement with the websites, online presence, book translations, new publications, video, design, and the development of digital resources.

Tom now works as Media Designer, helping carry the message of the Father’s love through media, design, publishing, websites, and online platforms. A large part of his work is focused on Fatherheart Life, the online magazine of Fatherheart Ministries, along with the ongoing development of books, resources, and new ways of making the message accessible around the world.

Tom also has a particular love for recovering old writings and forgotten voices that speak of the Father’s love, especially the writings of George MacDonald. He enjoys books, particularly old ones, and has a strong interest in ancient mythology, history, and the way these older worlds can open up deeper questions about the human story, and the longing for home.

Outside of his work, Tom enjoys gardening, reading, design, and spending time with his family. He is drawn to the work of making things, uncovering what has been hidden, and helping create spaces where people can encounter the love of the Father for themselves.
