Stephen Hill is from Northern Ireland. He had been involved in ministry for many years but experienced a crisis of faith in 2007. What he thought was a “mature and well-established Christianity” was exposed as being on a false foundation. His extensive Bible knowledge, anointing in spiritual gifts and lifelong involvement in ministry hadn’t been enough to sustain a successful walk with God. Something was missing.
In 2008 he came to the first Inheriting the Nations school on Great Barrier Island off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand. It was there that Stephen discovered what had been missing in his life—the unconditional love of God the Father. He discovered that the foundation of Christianity is the comforting love of a parental God. Stephen experienced the supernatural infilling of God’s comfort and nurture. This comfort-love has become his foundation and his source.
Stephen returned to the INS the following year to serve on the staff team. He met Becky, a New Zealander and they were married in 2010. From 2010 onwards Stephen has been involved with Fatherheart Ministries, speaking and ministering around the world.
A large part of Stephen’s ministry has been in writing books. He has written a number of books giving a prophetic perspective on the Scriptures through the lens of sonship and the Father’s love. These books are available through Amazon, and on the Fatherheart Ministries website.
After living for 13 years in New Zealand, Stephen returned in 2022 with his family to live in Northern Ireland. He now travels increasingly in Europe.
Stephen enjoys reading books, watching movies and listening to music. Among his other favourite pastimes are walking in nature and exploring cities. He also enjoys watching sport and eating out with family and friends.
