Shannon and her husband Jody currently reside in South Carolina. In 2015, they attended their first A School with Fatherheart Ministries, not realizing what was going to happen in their hearts. While attending the school, they experienced a deep life changing perspective on what Love really is, through the teachings of James and Denise Jordan.

Shortly after that, they attended a B school with James and Denise, which completely changed how they see Father-God, themselves, their family, and even the world.

Shannon’s family moved frequently during her childhood, living in various countries such as the United States, Germany, and Korea. Her parents were both quite adventurous, and wherever they would live, they would embrace the culture. In this revelation of Love, the collection of experiences from different countries and cultures really brings a deeper meaning to ‘Home’ for Shannon.

In 2006, Shannon met her husband, while they were both single parents. Something that captured Shannon’s heart about Jody, was watching him with his son. Seeing how tender and attentive he was with his son Hayden, really won her heart. She knew Jody was her person! Once married, their beautiful family was blended together and began to grow.

Shannon loves being a mom and considers it one of her greatest pleasures. When Shannon was at her First A School, it was the Motherheart of God that impacted her most. The revelation of the Motherheart of God showed Shannon the beautiful perspective of who Father really is as a mother to her. Comfort came and trust began to return. A childlike innocence was restored, bringing a new sense of wonder and freedom. As the Father met her in these tender moments, trust was rekindled in the hidden places of her heart, allowing her to become who she truly is.

Once Jody and Shannon discovered who Father was to them, they knew they wanted their friends in Haiti to experience this love too. Over the past eight years, they have hosted multiple events with Fatherheart, including ‘A’ Schools and conferences, seeing so many hearts opened to the Father’s love.

Since 2022, Father has also opened the door for Shannon to go into the local detention center/prison to share this Revelation of the Fathers Love. She has been able to bring an A school into the facility. To be able to see the residents experience how Father is pouring His love into their hearts and seeing the impact on their lives has been beautiful.

Shannon and Jody, along with their family, love being by the water! The beach is their go to place. Both of them were raised with a deep love for the ocean. Whether they’re surfing, flying kites, looking for shells, fishing, or just playing in the sand, the ocean always feels like home to them. Hanging out on or near the beach is one of the ways that their family loves to connect.
