Hans and Bodil Fhaer Larsen were invited to one evening meeting in 1998 at a church in Copenhagen, Denmark, but they returned for every meeting thereafter for an entire week. The daily speakers were James and Denise Jordan, and what they shared left the Fhaer Larsens ”totally changed,” Hans says.
He and Bodil desire now that others receive the revelation of the Father’s love that they received then and live as His sons and daughters.
Since that pivotal week, the couple has attended Fatherheart Ministries events in Europe and North America, including British Columbia, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom. They have attended or hosted more than twenty Fatherheart Ministries A and B schools.
Both Hans and Bodil grew up in eastern Denmark, north of Copenhagen. They have settled in that region, in the fishing town of Gilleleje, on the northernmost point of Zealand, Denmark’s largest island.
Hans is a retired engineer who specialised in medical devices. His work often involved developing quality controls for items such as heart-monitoring equipment. He also worked in the space industry, developing tests for electronics used in nano-satellites. Bodil is a longtime teacher who is currently employed at a Christian school.
Both have served on the leadership team of their local church, which frequently invites Fatherheart Ministries speakers to minister at conferences and camps.
The Fhaer Larsens have four adult children ~ Anna, Johannes, Laura and Gustav ~ and a granddaughter.
The couple relishes time in nature and on the sea. Together they enjoy sailing, cycling and walking. Hans also enjoys diving and rowing. Bodil spends time kayaking, taking photographs, growing vegetables and flowers, and reading.
