Biography
A conference in 1997 in the Netherlands, led by Jack Winter and James Jordan, “changed everything” for Eric and Helena de Kruik.
Since that introduction to the father heart of God, Eric says his passion has become “to show others that the way to really come alive is to encounter love.” Now he and Helena are intent on living life to the full and helping others do the same as Father’s sons and daughters.
They were born in the Netherlands and currently reside in the country’s central region, in Veenendaal.
Eric studied public administration and politics. He worked as a strategic advisor for the Association of Dutch Municipalities before launching his own business. Now he is a self-employed strategic advisor for the Dutch government. Helena has studied fashion and works in a clothing store.
Eric began translating for Jack Winter and James and Denise Jordan in the late 1990’s. From 2003 to 2013, he and Helena pastored a church in Montfoort, where the Jordan’s were frequent guest speakers.
After attending many Fatherheart Ministries’ schools and events, Eric and Helena began to help lead schools in 2011. Helena attended the Fatherheart Ministries’ Gathering in 2015 and a few years later they each attended the School of Prophetic Preaching, prompting more growth in leading others to Father.
The de Kruiks have three children: two daughters, Elianne, who is married, and Annefleur, and a son, Yorick. They also have a cocker spaniel dog, Grace.
Eric loves to read, primarily historical works, both novels and nonfiction. He also enjoys the puzzle-solving challenge of escape rooms and loves board games, owning a large collection. Helena enjoys gardening and outdoor activities, including mountain biking and paddle boarding. Her Mini Cooper with a soft top puts “a smile on my face.” In June the couple relished a ride in a hot-air balloon.
